# KYC Verification

Prodds is committed to providing a secure and fully compliant platform for sports enthusiasts. To prevent misuse, such as money laundering or sanctioned individuals attempting to engage with Prodds, we conduct basic verification of our users’ identities. This process also ensures that users under the age of 18 are restricted from accessing Prodds Predict. Our approach aligns with global anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and reflects our dedication to responsible gaming and user protection.

Users submit a government-issued ID, passport, or other valid identification documents. Users may need to provide additional documentation to verify their current residence, such as a utility bill or bank statement when required.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Users who do not complete KYC verification may face restrictions on certain platform functionalities.
{% endhint %}

## Privacy and Data Security

Prodds prioritizes the protection of your personal information. All data submitted during KYC is encrypted and securely stored in accordance with international data protection regulations. Access is limited to authorized personnel only, and Prodds does not share your data with third parties.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://prodds.gitbook.io/prodds/account/kyc-verification.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
